“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”
2. Jill S.
“This was Sofie's first time with Jill, but we plan to make it a weekly outing. Sofie came home EXHAUSTED, which was the goal! The pictures with the report card really made my day! Sofie looks like she was having a lot of fun hanging out with other dogs and playing. Jill was quick to respond to any of my inquiries, and she made sure that Sofie didn't have any allergies before handing out afternoon treats. Two paws up!”
3. Akie H.
“We booked Akie for a day stay. She was great with Millie! Took and shared a lot of pictures. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you Akie for loving Millie while she was with you!”
4. Susan T.
“Great Dog Sitter. I do recommend her! She was very kind and gentle towards oreo and he was very happy when I went to pick him up. I would just have liked more updates on oreo but other than that great person!”
5. Esther N.
“Esther is our go-to pet sitter for 2 Alaskan Malamutes and our old feisty Boston terrier. Our dogs are CHALLENGING, all for different reasons, and she keeps them safe and takes care of all their needs. We feel very lucky to welcome her into our home and trust our animals to her. Thank you, Esther.”
6. Shawna S.
“A great person for pets!! Shawna has always been known as the animal person in our community, she has a great range of knowledge on a variety of animals, with the compassion and love for each animal to match. She would go above and beyond for ANY animal!”
7. Barbara P.
“Barbara was very nice and took really good care of my dog, Butter. My dog has anxiety around bigger dogs, so for us, this was a perfect match. Even with her two smaller dogs, Barbara paid extra attention and had lots of caution in making sure that my dog felt comfortable being in her home and around her dogs. After our initial meet and greet, my dog didn’t even wait for me to say goodbye— He was so excited to be there that he ran inside when I dropped him off! As someone who gets anxiety from leaving their senior, special needs dog in anyone else’s hands, I will not hesitate to book Barbara again! Thank you so much Barbara!”
8. Adriana M.
“I had a great experience with Adriana today. This was my dog first experience in a day care and I was worried. Adriana send me pictures and videos during my doggy care and I felt better. I will recommend Adriana with my friends.”
9. Adriana A.
“Adriana was wonderful. She totally helped us out last minute when we were in a bind and needed a sitter asap. She was very aware of how to care for our puppy being that she raised hers from a pup as well which put me at ease because I know puppies can be a handful. When we picked up Charlie he was happy and snored the whole way home so I know he was played with and given lots of attention. Happy I found her so I can use her again for boarding for my nieces wedding. Ty Adriana!”

11. Keeley H.
About: It’s been my passion to work with different types of animals and care for them, ever since I was younger. Family and friends have entrusted me with their pets, and making sure they’re fed, bathed, and played with. I’m currently a part time student enrolled in College, which leaves me plenty of time to play & care for your fur babies and all their needs. My apartment offers a spacious play area and includes a built in dog park, and I’m always up for walks! I’m a very well-trusted person and will do everything to keep your fur babies happy and healthy under my care.
12. Aspen F.
About: I have a large variety of experiences with alllll kinds of animals in every scenario you can imagine. I grew up rural, and now living in the city I can tell you that nobody lives their pets more than the person who seeks out professional care for them while they're away for any length of time-thats where I come in! I've worked in veterinary hospitals, mobile grooming salons, ranches galore, and have had dogs and cats (newborns to seniors!) and pigs and horses etc etc etc(!) since childhood. I have an extreme sensitivity to being able to tune into the animals around me and that's why this job is perfect for me! I'm currently looking for full time work, as long as this gig doesn't take off in a way that allows me to just hang with your pets all day long instead! I have a vehicle, and a family that supports all of my fur-baby endeavors. My animals at home are really flexible and easy-going and can be separated or integrated into care of your dogs or cats. I have a fenced yard and a great neighborhood for walks, plus my own transportation and a family to support me being away for lengths of time so care for your babies can be confidently taken care of in my home, or in yours. I have experience with this type of work before and the sense of mind to take action if needed for any situation, so you can have peace of mind while you're not able to do the same!
